THE GALLERIES

“The “ROOTS AND WINGS” series of paintings describes steppingstones in the immigration process. In the works she explores themes of homesickness, living in two worlds, the challenge of a new language, the experience of being uprooted and adapting to the different unspoken cultural rules. As an immigrant herself the artist has experienced both the joys and challenges of a transition to a new culture and country.”
