European Art Tour

Jeanne is working on another  art tour in The Netherlands. This art trip will take place late May / early June 2013.

A small group of 10 artists will be able to join her on this exclusive trip. This time transportation will be by canal boat!

Accommodation is on board (single rooms and large studio space is available).

The tour follows the time line from Rembrandt to modern art, starting in Amsterdam, visiting the Rijksmuseum (Rembrandt's 'Night Watch'!) through Haarlem (Frans Hals), Gouda, Rotterdam (with visits to museum Boymans Van Beuningen), Utrecht (with a trip to the Kroller Muller collection) back to Amsterdam (for a tour through the Van  Gogh museum and the Cobra museum of Modern Art). Painting sessions on board complete this exciting holiday experience.

This is an excellent tour for artists who would like to explore the Dutch art through the centuries, learn the techniques of the masters and at the same time visit Holland in the Spring!

If you would like to be further informed about this tour, please connect with Jeanne at P: 604 434 1367 or email: jeanne@axion.net - Check out the ship: www.andereboeg.nl

Alley Ways show

The art show Alley Ways was a great success. Together with Norm Chodirker, with whom Jeanne as artists-volunteer works in the Art Room at Coast Mental Health Resource Centre, she put a show together with pieces from her series Touched. The exhibition attracted lots of visitors and got coverage both in print and through broadcasting.

Jeanne is still working on this series and it is to be expected that more pieces under the same theme are coming out of her studio the coming months.
